Which format should I pick?
- JPG for photos you want to send, upload or print. Every device opens it.
- PNG for screenshots, graphics, anything with a transparent background, or images you’ll keep editing. Lossless, but bigger.
- WebP for images on a website: smaller than both, and shown by every current browser.
Private by design
Most online converters upload your pictures to a server and send them back. This one doesn’t: the conversion runs in your browser, so your photos never leave your device. Because each image is redrawn from its pixels, location data and other metadata are removed too.
Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to Send Shed or anyone else.
Which formats can I convert?
HEIC/HEIF, WebP, AVIF, PNG, JPG, GIF and BMP in, and JPG, PNG or WebP out.
Is there a limit?
No sign-up and no daily limit. Very large images depend on your device’s memory.
