WeTransfer limit reached? Send it free here

Updated October 2026

WeTransfer's free plan stops you after 10 transfers or 3 GB in 30 days. If you're stuck mid-send, upload the file here instead. No account, no monthly cap, up to 3 GB per file, and you get a link to send the same way.

No files selected.

"Also delete if untouched" is an extra safety net on top of the expiry above, not a replacement for it — whichever condition is met first deletes the file. A file that keeps getting downloaded still goes at its expiry time either way.

Why you hit the limit so fast

The two limits stack. One 3 GB video uses your whole allowance even though it's only 1 of your 10 transfers, and ten small sends lock you out even if they add up to a few megabytes. The window rolls, so it doesn't reset on the first of the month: you get space back 30 days after each earlier transfer.

How to send it here

  1. Choose or drop the file above. You can pick several, and they get one combined link too.
  2. Pick how long the link lasts and, if you want, a password or download limit.
  3. Upload, copy the link, and paste it into your email or chat.

Need the link to last longer than 7 days? A free account keeps files for up to 30 days and lets you share a folder you can keep adding to.

Quick answers

What is WeTransfer's free limit?

WeTransfer Free allows 10 transfers or 3 GB in total in any rolling 30-day window, whichever comes first. Free transfers expire after 3 days.

When does the WeTransfer limit reset?

It is a rolling 30-day window, not a calendar month, so space frees up 30 days after each earlier transfer.

Is there a monthly limit on Send Shed?

No. Quick Share has no monthly transfer count or total cap. Each file can be up to 3 GB, with no account.
