Send Shed
Setup guide

Use Send Shed with ShareX

Take a screenshot or clip in ShareX and get a Send Shed link on your clipboard, ready to paste into Discord or anywhere else. Setup takes about a minute.

Set it up

  1. Create a free account or log in.
  2. In your dashboard, open ShareX & API and click Create API key.
  3. Click Download ShareX config (.sxcu) and double-click the downloaded file. ShareX asks to add it as a custom uploader: say yes.
  4. In ShareX, go to Destinations and set Image uploader, File uploader and Text uploader to Custom uploader.

That's it. After each capture or upload, the link is copied to your clipboard.

Get your API key

What you get

Upload from a script

The same key works with anything that can send a file over HTTP:

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY" \
     -F "file=@clip.mp4" \
     https://sendshed.com/api/v1/upload

The response is JSON with the share link in url. Add ?folder=FOLDER_ID to the upload address to put the file straight into one of your folders. Keep your key private. If it leaks, create a new one in your dashboard and the old one stops working.
